Hospital life, for many, is a landscape of fear and loneliness. Long days under fluorescent lights, strange sounds, masked faces, and routines that steal the softness from childhood. But something shifts the moment he enters the room.

He trots in—furry, golden, full of life. Dr. Risas. A certified therapy dog and full-time joy dispenser. His tools?
